Are you ready for the weekend?

Or are you ready for the week to end? <_<

Not sure which here "Two Weeks From Anywhere". :WhoMe:

Getting a load of sheet goods at the furniture bank this morning and going in to cut parts this afternoon.  We had two volunteer crews yesterday and pumped out over 50 tables before we ran out of parts.

Tomorrow is the annual club seminar and this year's topic will be on machine setup and maintenance.  Looking forward to it.

Oh, it's the weekend. Sorry...being retired the days all run together. In any case I suspect I won't be out in the yard this weekend, weather has got back to more seasonable temps and then there's the rain. So I may be piddling in the shop.

Gonna rain and that usually puts any activity in the shop.

Have a back porch light to install...last night's try was a fiasco....went to Lowes this morning for a connector kit....Will try again this afternoon-ish..

On the way back from Lowes...spotted the Sign..."GARAGE SALE"!...and just HAD to drop by.....bought ONE item, and spent $5 on it...then went on home...

Wasn't any price tag...asked them IF they would take a "fiver" for it....."Sure!"

The only spot that is froze up, is the selector /shifter ring....currently things are getting a WD40 soak..

Sweet find. Tell me (us) more about it. Very unusual swing. Can't say I've ever seen one like this but I don't get out much these days.

As much leverage that swing provides makes me think that it might be used for auger bits.

As to a weekend agenda, I'm with Fred. Weekends are just two more days. Ya know... SSDD. :D As @John Morris said earlier. ..LIFE IS GOOD!

Got a few hours in this week piddling in the garage de-rusting, cleaning, re-furbing, sorting numerous "treasures" from on-line auction purchases past. Hopefully will get some more time in during the weekend. Very therapeutic after the long winter. Pictures one of these days.

If it dries out, back to stick patrol. Last 2 days of high winds brought in another bumper crop to harvest.

Some sporting events if weather cooperates. Church responsibilities Sunday; oldest granddaughter turns 22 on Sunday.

Texted back and forth some with @Gunny this week. He's doing well, but very busy at work. From the work project pictures he's shared, word of advice, don't drive in the greater Atlanta area...it's a demolition derby down there.:JawDrop:

Millers Falls No. 7312, made around 1935 or so...called a Wimble Brace....

Rain has showed up around here...I ain't doing electrical anything in the rain....not gonna happen.

Area where the card adapter from the camera plugs into the computer...has gone down.....currently running a cable to a second camera to the computer...to load photos from the main camera....PITA today.   Have to leave it set up, IF I want to view my photo files.

Second try was more about getting wires to be ready to connect to the outlet....until the hands started shaking too bad to use them...

Got a couple thousand table parts cut this afternoon -- tops, legs, aprons, fascia.  Some components like legs and aprons prepped even further.  Ready for Monday's build.

Nope. Been about 15 years. For several years used to be nearby in the burbs almost daily. Didn't leave anything behind I need.

Even longer since I've been there. Last time my wife and daughter thought we all needed a pair of custom made genuine wooden shoes and a bucket full of tulip bulbs. Neither has survived.

Or Boston

Last time I there was on my Senior High School after graduation trip 52 years ago. It was a 7d, 6n trip for our entire senior class (29) along with sponsors. Included stops &/or stays in D.C., NYC, Philadelphia,  Pittsburg, Gettysburg,  Hersey and probably some others. Aside from personal items, the trip was all inclusive funded through 4 years of fundraising, concessions, proms, etc. We had $$'s left over to leave a sizable amount to the school even though it would be the final senior class trip. School consolidated the following year.

I also had been to Boston and Brockton two years earlier. Traveled with my Aunt and Uncle to visit their son/my cousin while he was stationed in Brockton. He is 4 years older than me but we were like brothers. Saw the moon landing at his place in Brockton.

Remember when you told me I sucked? Back at ya for the retirement comment!
