old joke:

old guy, very rich, passes away, and directs he be buried with all his money.  so they convert everything to 100s, and it fills a good sized duffle bag they place between his legs.  just as they are going to close up the casket, his widow steps forward, presumably to give him one last kiss goodbye.  she says something quietly, reaches into her purse, places an envelope on his chest, and withdraws the duffle bag full of money.

"ok, close it up men."

"but, ma'am, he specifically directed that he be buried with all his money."

"yes, i'm aware of that.  I wrote him a check, don't worry, i'm good for it when he tries to cash it"

(rimshot).....

The tools would certainly be cheaper!

To be honest, I've never had a problem getting a colonoscopy, (the prep was always worse than the test)

For sure, Fred!  FWIW - on my previous "procedure" I mixed all that ill tasting stuff up with the appropriate amount of lemon-lime Gatorade.  As I recall that was so sickeningly sweet that I've not had any lemon-lime anything in the last 12 years!

On this go it was suggested that you drink water, white cranberry-peach juice, apple juice or a clear Gatorade.  My wife picked up a bottle of each and I mixed a smaller batch from each.  It wasn't as sweet and the different mixes actually was ok.  I just drank a different mix with each glass.  A whole lot better than the previous time.

It was also suggested that I walk around during the drinking of all that stuff to help alleviate the bloating.  I was able to do this with a short stroll outside until dark, then I just used the elliptical type machine we have.  That helped a lot also, I am sure.
