This was what I was working on.   New sanding belt,   new sanding disc.   IF you buy one of these..throw the OEM Mitre gauge in the trash, it is junk.   This one came from the bandsaw...Disc had thrown out the set screw holding it to the drive shaft....threads were trashed, too...new set screws were NOT metric...so

We have ways...5/16" x 18 tap, to match the new set screw.

Sock drawer is neat as a pin, glue bottles are pristine, bench brushes are at their tonsorial best, planer bed is slick, as are the saw tables. Even the bandsaws’ tables. Shop floor is semi dust free. Walnut stacked and trembling. It knows what’s next. It’s resaw and planing time. Installed a shiny new Wood Slicer on the band saw and, turned all the cutters to new edges on the DW’S spiral head. By Thursday, hopefully, we can do some glue ups.

Got the dining centers cleaned, repairs made, put back up with a swivel hook to better withstand the wind tunnel effect. Fully stocked with fresh grape jelly, orange halves, meal worms plus a separate orange drink bar. Appears a few more guests "flew in" from "Baltimore" last night. Hope they brought their flannel feathers with Frost warning/ potential hard freeze warning tonight.

Sweet! A Horse model plus electric start. Looks like it has the 8hp Briggs & Stratton too...win, win, win. From what I can see in the picture, the tines still have paint on them? Ya did good Gerald...now got the garden done yet?

You did good! I wish mine had electric start. Given it has those safety handhold disconnects I'd say that's a 90s something model. Applause!

That is seriously nice 4D!  Every time I start to think that I actually might know something about this craft, one of you guys casually tosses something up here that makes me reevaluate everything!!

I am currently working on a vertical laptop stand this week in an effort to class up the work desk a little bit.

I will post pictures when it is more than just a glued up block.

Had some fun today, managed to get out in the shop and get the laptop stand cut out, sanded, and finished.
This is with the first coat of danish oil.

Looks good Static...I like the design.

Managed to get all the sticks picked up AGAIN and ~1/3+ of yard mowed. Engine to hydrastatic pump belt broke. Naturally about as far away from the garage as possible since it won't move. Doesn't appear any of the local JD dealers stock it. Doing some cross reference, I think a 4L64 will work OK. Trip to town tomorrow. Hopefully can find one of Kevlar.

Did some extensive searching today for manufacture date on the tiller. Found a Tractor Forum with the same question and maybe 6 months into it was the answer 1992 by Garden Way, which was formed by employees to buy from Rockwell. It is unbelievable the transition of Troy Built thru five owners manufacturers and it is difficult to find some things. The motor manual was provided by that company, in my case Briggs and Stratton. Had to call them for the manual and they were very accommodating. Troy Built Horse manual was easy to find.

They (Troy Bilt) are one of the great companies of years past and it's a shame what has happened to the name and the company. Smacks a little bit of what happened to the Delta name.

That's  a shame, Fred. Troybilt used to be the gold standard.
