March 8, 20224 yr Popular Post Had a great weekend ending to Spring Farm Days at the Ag Museum. Sales were twice last years for same event. Had to order more kits for some items and will be working on those this week. Made a whistling top and took it along just for fun. Showed it to one man and he bought it. Go figure as i put a price I did not think I would get. Edited March 8, 20224 yr by Gerald

Even if it is only for a few - 45 minutes". When work is/was slow, I'd find a customer who needed a walk-through and adjustment / tightening up of items. I'm not afraid to fail; rather, I embrace it. To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong and Anything worth doing is worth doing badly are two sayings which are part of my approach when trying something new. Lately, just about everything I try in woodworking is new. Some century-old spruce and pine just landed on my porch. Amazing tight straight grain on the spruce. And I'll try my first dovetail effort, a truck battery-sized box.

The process of learning my capabilities to match what they want done has begun. Alot newer equipment available here. Some I have used or see demo'd, others I just dreamed of being able to use just for the speed at which a task can be completed. Only new thing is this clocking in and out stuff. Have not done that in 16 years. Paperwork isn't new just something we never did at old shop.
March 9, 20224 yr Popular Post I'll throw in another "Good Luck!". As for paperwork it is an insidious mold that grows slowly over time thanks to administrators who are trying to justify their high salaries. JMHO. 4D

Do you have folks in the Ukrane?

March 9, 20224 yr Popular Post My wife can find a tool very easily, I have to get it for her. The problem comes when I forget to get it back from her and she forgets what she did with it.
