One pipe system with a Bell & Gossett pump?

Taco 007. One each feed and return but I did try piping it with three circulators. Two t-stats. Bathroom, 2nd floor, 1st floor. With check valves. Never worked right, went back to one circulator.

Jeez Gerald, please let us know how you are doing...

I have a mess of different stuff going on.  In no particular order:

Doing the vinyl stencil work for the second window sash.  I had a couple ideas for the mirrors on this one, so I've been drawing them out to size and using colored pencils to see which of several designs I like best.  I am down now to where I will do a couple tests on scrap mirror to finalize the mirror parts.  I've also been taking a few minutes here and there to go through my photo library to select a group of pics that will be used in this sash.  While I am doing this, I am also pulling those pics that I might want to use in sash #3.

Started doing some sure-'nuff garage cleanup this past week to ready the attached garage for a redo.  This years project is to paint and freshen up the garage.  Gave away a truck load of misc. "stuff" the other day, sold a few pieces on marketplace, and half filled our trash can.  Another couple weeks like this and I might be able to set up and get started on the first half :D

I liken this to watching an ingrown toenail operation on the health network, just painful. :BugEyeSmiley:

Other than watching a group of misfits hanging vinyl siding on the neighbor's house I have no plans for the weekend.

That's okay.  A blind guy will never notice it from the street.

Gerald, I was saddened to read your post.  Praying that all is well.  Take good care and give us a positive update if you can.

Larry, is that enough nipples for the filtering system?  Wow.

A buddy gave me an armload of wood that he thought was all mahogany.  I used one piece to make pens and inside out turnings and it is beautiful wood.  It was scraps and obviously some has been used as spacers in its past life.  Thursday, is the only day I got some shop time.  I used my SS joiner as a planer to smooth these rough cut boards.  I have projects planned but one of the boards gives me pause.  The first one is really mahogany.

This next board is very dark and causes me to wonder if it is that same wood.  The grain is beautiful when it gets planed.

I don't know what I will do with the section of wiggly cracks.  They certainly won't be turned.  Notice the dark wood on the ground.

Mahogany gets darker with age like Cherry.  Wipe some mineral spirits on a spot and it will turn much darker than it looks planed.  So, yes oil based finishes will darken it immediately.  That is some nice stuff.  Here is an ornament that has Mahogany stripes and a finial with just a wipe on poly finish.

The last canister on the right is currently empty. With doing continuing water quality tests we may or may not have to add one more softening/conditioning/descaling cartridge to the water treatment. What we've got in there so far has improved the water quality quite well.

We drained down the boiler a couple of days ago and the water was basically a very dark grey/brown color which tells me the S/C/D cartridges are cleaning out the system. These are F.D.A. approved food grade resin cartridges which bring the water quality to Pre-Reverse Osmosis filtering levels.

Neighbor called earlier stating the heat exchanger in the air handler was banging quite loudly.

He held his phone by the unit, and it sounds like it might be another late-night session changing out the big 1 1/4" F&T steam trap.

Sorry for the delay on condition report. Finally got into a room Friday morning in Cardiac testing unit. They did CT scan, EKG and nuclear stress test . Boy that last one is a dilly. The injection went up one arm and down the other. Instead of the reaction I expected like I had wet my pants it was on the other side. Nurse in ER said Xray showed Atelectasis in lower lobes of lungs which no Doctor mentioned. Well with all the tests heart is fine but have hbp. So now have to get a heart monitor appt tomorrow and schedule appt with cardiologist.

Made it to the hands on and Saturday was a day long demo. Got home about 6 and went to bed at 7 . Just barely got 7 hours sleep:D. Hope this next week is better.

Spent Saturday AM cutting parts at the furniture bank.   I probably cut 300-400 pieces for tables.   All together, 4 of us cut up about 20 sheets of sheet goods. Then I went to daughter's house to babysit two girls while the third was headed to Columbus for a gymnastics meet.  Saturday night was the musical review with the theater group.  Here's one of the solo numbers that one of the granddaughters did.  https://www.facebook.com/1377491343/videos/278953974353930

When the performance ended, all the set had to be taken down and hauled off and the church restored for Sunday AM service.   Then spent the night babysitting with the girls.  Came home about noon and worked on a box to hold my wife's charging cords.

Thanks for the update Gerald.  Don't know what all those medical terms mean, but it sounds better than a  heart attack...

Do you have/use a fitness device like a fitbit?  Did you have any idea that things were getting out of whack?

The nuclear stress test does not require physical exertion. All done with the injection and then a scan

BTDT...hardest part for me was laying still for the duration. It was inconclusive so next up was treadmill test. If someone is gonna die of a heart attack, that test is the one to do it.

Continued prayers for you and your medical team.

Wish I had a space on cabinet for that. And now if she is like my wife problem is to get the cords back in box.

Finished this, another piano salvage, project keys (obviously) and frame from the piano.  Stripped and fresh finish on the frame
