There is a lot of waste when made according to the article.   I had one longer board cut into strips and drilled 4 holes in each.  Then I ran the threaded rods thru and cut the angles nesting them like this /\/\/

I suppose you could be a little more mathmatical and figure out to cut piece 1 & 30, 2 & 29,... but then drilling the holes would be more of a challenge than setting a stop and drilling a bunch of them.

Could not resist and made one. By the way 7/8 is not large enough for kisses, used 1 inch.IMG_8401.jpeg.830f3458dd3db0af7e658989d6c9f74a.jpeg

I think I’ve expanded the width of the branches, and the size of the holes. Looks awesome!

I made one and likely won't make any more. Everyone that saw it on Thanksgiving thought it was pretty neat, but very few of the Kisses got eaten.

I'll send my grandkids over.  We usually have to reload ours after a couple of days.

I have found that the small, wrapped Reeses, and Rolos, also fit.

Kisses loaded.  Count was 104.   The wife found a bag at Costco containing 350.  Might have to make some cookies with them on top.
