Lazy weekend. Some yardwork and cleaned a little in the basement shop. Was gonna plant garden but it's expected to be pretty chilly this week.

The weekend afforded two beautiful days so I got some yard done.  It's wonderful being outside again.  Raining today so headed to the shop with nothing in mind.  I'll see what catches my eye.

Pretty much in the same boat as Dan, spending every minute outside I can...except when it's raining. I might tinker with my tiller today, it's not getting any gas to the engine. I won't tinker much...just enough to convince myself to take it somewhere for repair. It's a Garden Way Troy Bilt Horse with the 7 HP Briggs....really worth whatever I spend on it.

Sunday's gathering went quite well. Plenty of food and, drink. A very enjoyable afternoon. A bit windy. The corn hole players had to adjust for windage. As expected, we have plenty of left over food.

Today's shop time will be devoted to prepping space for cutting 40 rolls of insulation. Dunno exactly when it and, the adhesive will arrive. Hopefully, within a couple days. We're getting anxious. Insulation has to go up before we start building stud walls. We have probably 90% of the lumber stacked and, ready. Thankfully, amassed before the prices skyrocketed.

Glued up this blank for Dad's Urn. Came out pretty good. Candle goes on top.

Not much done here at home this weekend. Had guests who wanted to see Little Finland which is an interesting area geologically about 2 1/2 hours from here and a lot of 4 wheeling down sand washes. The desert is in full bloom so it was very pretty. Did make them some coasters out of some zebra wood scraps to send home with them. All in all a fun weekend.

:ChinScratch: .. Didn't get much done over the weekend, just a timing belt kit with the water pump on the new to us Honda Pilot.

Should be good for another 100K miles. Will do oil change sometime today.

:throbbinghead:

(When I can move a little better, very stiff/slow today.)

That is a 1.5 hour job in the shop.

And none of that crawling around on the ground either.

 ... 1.5 hrs.?

 ... If you're trying to make me feel bad :WhoMe:, it won't work. :Tapping:

:ChinScratch: ... I figure even if it took me 12 hrs., I saved at least $1K over what I got quoted to have it done. :D

Got some romaine planted before the downpour, and "helped" (light holder and tool box gofer) my son with new pads and rotors on his 08 Accord.  Funny, the last wheel was easy! :BangingHead:
