Had tattoo removal work done today so I'm stuck inside for a few days until this crap scabs over unfortunately.  Cant get any of the dust in the wounds don't need any infections.  Did it hurt?  NOPE not one bit.

Got the strawberry plants that FedEx delivered in, transplanted some ground cover, mowed the yard, captured a bee swarm in the back yard, later got it moved to its new home..  Came in with a few ticks.   Ugh

Ordered materials for a ShopSmith storage cabinet.  Designed a floor standing cabinet 96x22x40 instead of one hanging from the way tubes.  Planned it so it will also house the jointer underneath (between the end cabinets) and out of the way along the back wall of the shop.  Nothing too fancy since it's a shop fixture.  Needs to hold, all of the SS bits and bobs, air compressor, dust collection tub, dust collector hose/fittings.

 

HomeDespot should be around tomorrow to deliver the sheet goods.

Not much done here at home this weekend. Had guests who wanted to see Little Finland which is an interesting area geologically about 2 1/2 hours from here and a lot of 4 wheeling down sand washes. The desert is in full bloom so it was very pretty. Did make them some coasters out of some zebra wood scraps to send home with them. All in all a fun weekend.

HomeDespot called last night to say they couldn't fill the plywood order and I asked them to cancel it.  I'll see if I can get the product delivered by someone else.  Maybe the LoweDown blue store can handle it or McCreepy's.  In any case, project is on hold for now.

Took delivery of 40 rolls of insulation yesterday. So, the next few days are booked. Most crews would have it all done in a single day but, we're only two and, we're old and slow. Even so, I should be building out the stud walls by next week. 

The light at the end of the tunnel grows brighter and, there's no train noise so, all is good....for now.
