Memorial Service was nice.  Managed to deliver flag and speech no issues.  Was tough doing in front of my own Mother but reached down deep and dragged out an anchor.  About 100 people attended, Dad was popular at church and with his K-9 unit, even had couple old Eastern Airline guys he worked with come.

 

Mothers comment afterward when we all met up at the house?   Can you guys go out for a few hours I need a nap.

 

I do believe she has had enough of people for a bit.  Oh forgot to mention her sister showed up.  Probably should have brought Mother a large bottle of Brandy so she could endure that torture.

 

 

Thankfully Mother requested once I had presented flag to put normal clothes on.  Probably a bit much for her to have me in uniform considering the years I spent in harms way abroad.
