Ron, I've discussed this with John at length, he's committed to the tags being a valuable thing. I don't use them, but others add them to any posts after it's up. But I'm on a mac, and I simply drag the photo and drop it below where it says "drag files here to attach". Does that not work for you?

I tried dragging files too.........no go

    This off an iPad.  Add Files, select photos, insert.  Easy peasy.
