Called a French Curve.   Can be used to draw about any number of different curves.  How many can you count.   I use it for gradual curves, usually....

Educate me on this particular tool.

French curve. Nice for drawing curves. Pain in the butt to try to duplicate the same curve over and over.

As these would be a bit too small.  Letting this dry a day, or so...then a coat or two of a gloss varnish?

Almost done....

There is a spot, just above the top center drawer...that will get something "special" once the finish is done....

Stay tuned...:cowboy:

Handles have been bought.  Modified to what I need.  They USED to used a bolt from inside a drawer...not an option here....ground the fake screw heads off, will look silly with real ones right beside them.   New, SHARP, drill bit, with a dab of oil...drill out two mounting holes....fine, grinding marks, and the rest of the colour was...off....black spray paint to blend it all together..

This is after the paint dried....had another item to work on while I was waiting...

Hardest part was getting these level, and at the right spot...matching the other handle...

Top tray has filled up..

Unless I want to start stacking things up in here.  Drawers are getting there, too.

Need a place to sit this..in the shop...

Those handles are a nice addition to the drawer pulls.  Great work all around Steven.

There is some great things about being on this site,...and not so great things about being here. We cover the great things quite a bit so this is gonna cover the not so good  . Looking at all that makes me feel the need to get rid of my junky plasticky layout tools/compass's and get a pile that looks like that. Those are coooool,.I love'em

all made in USA, except for that MITUTOYO 6" Dividers.  Mostly all from yard sales.  Another was by PEXTO ( Peck, Stow, & Wilcox)

I'm always on the look out for good dividers and such...

I spent $15 for a box...

These two rulers had all their markings in Japanese...except for the mm numbers...

Looks good!
