Our own Irishwoodcarver created this beautiful director's baton case for a friend. Drop dead beautiful work, by hand and by chisel for the lettering. Great job Irish!

Thought we had a buyer for the house but, that fell through. With the current epidemic, we're not too keen on having other folks do any walk throughs, either. Can't hardly require a health certification for each prospect.

The house is practically empty except for essentials of daily living. But, the shop is still fully operational.

Got to keep the "Man Cave" going!

Still livin' the dream!

Where was this virus when I was still teaching? All the schools are shut down and the days don't have to be made up at the end of the year!

..Made a quick trip to store, 20 minutes to get through the store 1.25 hr. to make it through the checkout! :PullingHair:

:o...It still looks like looters went through before we got there. <_<

Some area schools went to virtual teaching from home.

There's talk about leaving them closed for the rest of the year here in Wisconsin.

Ohio mentioned that closing them through the end of the year is a possibility....but for now it's through April 3. They've also asked the bars and restaurants to no longer serve in the dining rooms, take out and delivery only. But my now-favorite quote was on the news last night. The reporter was outside a liquor establishment and interviewing a woman who apparently planned on some libations. So she was turned away and asked for comment by the reporter. She "it's closed?!, who wants to go through the end-of-the-world sober??"

. Not going to repeat all the rumors but I had a rough day Saturday. Trying to turn some pecan before it splits. Had to rip a log 23 inches and hit 3 nails with chain saw. Sharpened taking off 5 times what I usually do to finish the cut. Got it on the lathe and hit another. FUN day.

Today power wash the pollen and maybe get back to turning.

Rough day doing the Kitchen floor......went to stand up  from nailing down a trim piece...and did a faceplant....glass were bent, and knocked off my nose, and left a nice slice across said nose...will need to buy a new pair of "readers" next payday.   Landing Zone?

There are two dots on that rug, that weren't there before...Impact Zone?

Yep, that's going to leave a mark.   Made a slice, left a flap.

Was kneeling down on the carpet side.  tried to stand back up...

Didn't get very far.  Grandson had to help me stand back up....the two of us now have the main kitchen floor done...

Still have to clear, clean and lay the tiles down in this hallway.   When I get healed up enough.

Happened Sunday.....afraid to try things today..being a Monday.   Projects?  Might be a new tool cabinet in the works...have to clean up this mess, somehow..

Hmmm...yeah....might be safer than doing floors....

Take it easy there Ironman.  Maybe get a good long recharge.  :ChinScratch:

Ouch!!  Hope you are feeling better.

Decided the shop sink needs replacing and a few upgrades to the cabinet were due.  Mainly it has always bugged me that at the time I put it in I was rushed by ex to get done to go to some party.  Thankfully those days are gone and I have plenty of time to do as I please.

Old sink:                                                 Ripped open wall to see what we have:

Hope you are feeling better. I had a pry bar slip a few years ago and hit me about where your cut is. On the glasses looke at the Dollar Store or Everything is a Dollar work as well as the more expensive drugstore type.

Making progress. After I moved the other cabinet. Diamond plate backsplash. Found a busted truck toolbox. Cut this out of that carcass. Cleaned up nice.

Okay so it's Redneck Fancy.
