  1. Joseph

    Jam Chuck

I made one, just haven't used it yet.
  2. I've used triple E,nks. then its sister product, shellwax. I wouldn't have thought that an oil finish could be put over the triple E. Thanks.
  3. I have been wandering around this site, not knowing how to find stuff, mainly woodturning stuff. I will keep at it. Tried the search, I didn't find what I wanted. Someone posted a jam chuck article from Wood Magazine. I found it, read it, and I turned the jam chuck. I wanted to say thanks to the gentleman and show a picture of it. Of course, I don't see how to do that where I am now. Any help will be appreciated. Oh, the article mentioned using neopreme. I used shelf liner since I had it. Thought would work just as well. Will let you know.

  4. Like your tip. I drilled a couple of dowels, pinched a split sinker over the wires end. Worked for awhile. Will be trying yours.
  5. First time here. What I see is beyond me. I do thank this group for letting me hang out.
  6. Welcome to The Patriot Woodworker Joseph!
