John, when you do build a shooting board, the #51 requires a side fence on the runway. Article: http://www.inthewoodshop.com/ShopMadeTools/RunningFencefortheShootingBoard.html Without this, the plane will not easily track straight. Regards from Perth Derek

April 7, 20205 yr Hi guys, I'm just putting my feelers out there to see if there would be any serious interest in my No 51 plane and 52 shoot board. It's in excellent condition with no repairs needed. The so called frog is intact no damage. No missing parts. I have not repainted the black areas as the purists may like the original condition and patina. This one is definately for the collector, a very rare piece that is looking for its next owner. Cheers Eddy

I've only used it a few times and love it, I have not had the opportunity to use it as much as I would like, but I will soon! In a few years once I retire, the projects will start rolling in!
