I got no idea what the proper designation for what I do, and want to be able to do, is. I am with Gene in that if I had the $ means, I would have a CNC machine and a laser engraver, among others. They seem to open a whole world of possible qualities (not quite the word I was searching for), that I most likely won’t have enough time left to live, to learn how to do, satisfactory, by hand.  I am also enthralled watching the process Steve is using to make that project with all hand tools. Anywho I hope MaD makes the choice that makes her the happiest. 

No feathers are ruffled. WWing entails using any and all tools to make stuff. I'm sure Ma will do what she wants to do, or there might be a swift whap to someone's head with cardboard tube!
