Well unfortunately Stick cannot confirm or deny, or even mention the phrase confirm or deny so we have no real proof.  Just supposition based on some random observations using intuitive deduction.

If you cannot dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with  ya know.

Rick and Marty are "treasure hunters" looking for alleged treasure buried on Oak Island in Nova Scotia. In 1795, three boys playing on the island found a earth depression. Fueled by legends, that, pirates had buried treasure on the island they excavated. At 90 feet they found a large stone on an oak platform with a cipher etched on it. It was later translated to say that 40' feet down lay a large treasure. Unfortunately, when they started further excavations, they tripped a booby trap and the shaft fill with water.

There have been numerous attempts to find the treasure since then, including many famous people like John Wayne, FDR, and several well known businessmen. Rick and Marty are the latest and they have an ongoing show called Mysteries of Oak Island, which airs on the History Channel.

Nope, you're wrong...you would enjoy it...history, engineering, etc. It can be tedious at times but it is interesting. Shows/uses some of the latest data gathering techniques, like, GPR, LYDAR, sonic sound detection, astrophysics, metal detecting, drilling techniques/methods, etc., as well as tried and true construction methods. Wade through the drama inserted to make the program a hour long and there is some really good stuff there.

In your case FF is our friend. Lots of unnecessary drama that can be passed up. Probably, about 25% of the hour is informative.
