Home swim meet tonight; County swim meet Saturday. Normal daily domestic duties. Oldest grandson has Christmas Program mid week.

Thinking about starting some Christmas shopping this week but brain keeps re-booting that program.

Otherwise I'll continue to do my part conserving as much energy as I can.

My email notifications are not working. I believe I've checked of all the boxes but I still get nothing.

I'm on it Rich! I'll check when I get in tonight and let you know what may be the problem.

Been having the same problem myself.

First time I've been home during the day while the LOML is decorating for the holidays, offers to help fall on deaf ears, best to just stay out of the way.

Cleaning up dry leaves outside sounds like a good idea Dan.

The shed may not be done until spring.

Come Spring you'll open the door and wonder what the heck happened.

That's not going to happen. Barring dementia, Alzheimer's disease etc this is a memorable event.

When I get a little more time I tell you all where I was and what I was doing when the quake hit.

why wait..

inquiring minds want to know...

I am likely done building anything for the year.  Got the last house project done at the end of November (12 drawer storage cabinet for my office), and gave away 2 wooden bowls to friends yesterday at the pistol match.

it's an odd feeling.  the house, which we've spent 8 years renovating (one room at a time), is now all done.  inside and out.  now what?  i'll have to ponder that for a bit.  no point in having a shop and not use it now and then.  i'm supposed to build a new design shooting bench for the range, but i think the design is stupid/wasteful, and we will have new officers next Jan, so i may try to wait it out and cancel that idea.

hmmmm....

Well almost finished the A/V project for the club .

This is the frame. The base is from a lathe control pole that was donated to the club with the Sorby lathe and I joined the two as one piece. Top is red oak which I do not use much.

This is the nearly finished piece. Wheels were from a lathe we had to change when the soft coating on the wheels deteriorated. Still have a little more trim on front and mount door . Then have to put handles on ends to asist moving.

Still in the process of cleaning my shop  Man that thing was bad.

I guess I should start cleaning up after every project instead of every 20 projects or so.
