Football game wasn't going too well, stopped watching about 2 minutes before Halftime...

Plywood panels were fitted to the shelf...

Glued in place, cauls to keep them there...set this onto the dry floor

Looks like I'll have plenty for the top...needs a bit of work..

Needed flattened, and corner details...and sanded..flatten we can do..

Aso had a radius jig to use..

Then cut as close as I can on the bandsaw...beltsander to smooth the curve

Reset the router's depth a bit....back to sanding...

And again after the router went around...wonder how old that sander is...

Corner blocks needed a slot drilled...

Top is on the bench..good side down...somehow flip this base over, and onto the top..

First two screws, and washers were done, once that left side was centered on the top...then that clamp was used, to pull the right side into "alignment" and screwed down..

All done...one screw did not need a washer.  Needed to find a block of Walnut...then clamp it in the drill press, find the plug cutter..

Needed two plugs...so..I made three, always nice to have a spare...glued two plugs in place..

One to each side.  Waitng on the glue joints to all cure out....set this mess onto the floor, for now..

Still needs final sanding...and a coat or two of Shellac....couple inlay pieces need installed, once the cauls get out of the way..

 

Swept the dry floor up..

Hauled the dry Laundry up the stairs, and closed the shop...

Table being replace..was made from Pallet wood...The thing behind it, is it's replacement..

Boss likes it...same height as the table beside her chair....which was an enclosed end table...

Need to go out and buy a can of varnish, and a brush or two...

Just a simple table...
