Not sure that's any closer than the original one...which is on my bucket list. I guess now that Seven Corners closed they can claim to be the largest hardware. I've bought a fair amount of stuff from them, but it was always from their catalog.

I live there, and disagree with that sentiment. I hate the state, and it's only because of the grandkids (according to my wife) that we are still here. Otherwise it would be somewhere that taxes us a whole lot less.

I live close enough to know a couple of other criteria should be considered as enticement too ... warm year around and dryer climate...preferably without mosquitoes, snakes or other critters which might consume pets or people.

Hawaii meets most of your criteria. It's wet. Don't know about the mosquitoes. Arizona and NM come close. But, we do have snakes and bears. But, we're warm+ and dry++.

You wouldn't like it here either. High taxes and cost of living. Low humidity, lots of rain from November to June, not much snow, only a day or two at a time, no hurricanes or tornadoes, minor flooding, lots of lying politicians and people telling you how to live, only garter snakes, a few bears and cougars in the mountains they don't bother. Lots of seafood,if you like that kind of food, Predominantly Doug Fir and Cotton Wood  forest, and Western Maple,hilly terrain, this is the west side of mountains.

East Side is dry, lots of sunshine, very little rain,low population,only one city and a lot of small towns, sage brush, rattle snakes and jack rabbits, irrigated farmland, lots of wide open spaces, see for miles flat land.
