April 4, 20188 yr comment_145595 You'll notice from the picture that our object is apparently NOT sharpened on the hook back section. My guess is that it started out much like this one; and that the curve (belly) was sharpened away over time (much like many old very heavily used and sharpened knives). I thought about cutting away the curved part of this one but don't have the ideal image software so that it showed straight from one point to the other...you'll see that it's virtually identical to our guest. April 10, 20188 yr comment_146275 Over-thinking this a bit? Nowadays, you use a razorblade holder to trim the edges of veneers where they overlap at a corner.....that is all this tool does. Just run it along an edge, to trim the excess veneer off. Was made before them Plastic holder thingys came out. Sharp ends allowed you to reach right into a corner, or..follow a curved edge. Simple... Report
