I would like to thank Stick for  inviting me to this forum. I can see other names that I recognise from another site. I have filled out the profile section and added a couple of pics to help you see my shop. I hope to participate as much as possible. I viewed the members map and was surprised to see only one other Canadian from the Toronto area, we are a bunch of fun guys and you should invite more of us to join. I have decided to open a woodworking school in my region for there is a demand and nobody offering courses. I will attempt to start classes in January.

  • You mean the head of the line...stick to your doughnuts, which you always seem to get first dibs on. I switched to pie and ice cream, so if you want any of the pie, harness up to the dog team...but I

Happy to be part of another great bunch. I noticed Mike and a couple others are also part of this forum as well.

As for Donuts, I would mail them but they will either be stale by the time you get them or someone will suspect the white powder and open them and eat them LOL. Hopefully our paths might cross one day. Last summer I met Chuck and Daninvan during a trip out west. What area do you call home ? I didn't see you on the member map.

Howdy, Dan. Glad you came aboard.

Can always use another Dan.  Welcome to the group.

Central mountains of Colorado....

That is an area I plan on visiting one of these days. I bought a motorhome last summer and used it to travel across Canada all the way to Vancouver Island. I came back through the Northern states from Washington to Minnesota and then south to New York where I crossed back into Canada. I plan on doing the East coast from Maine to Florida and maybe beyond. Another trip is to include The Grand Canyon and some other states on the way and back. Maybe Colorado. I worked with a guy who lives somewhere in that state, I would sure like to see him again. Last year one of the most enjoyable parts of my trip were the Canadian Rockies, I hope the US side is just as magnificent.

Welcome aboard Dan. Maybe in your travels to the east coast in the future, you might drive thru our little town of Salisbury MA. bordering NH to the north of us and the ocean to the east. Just built a 500 ft boardwalk on the ocean front.

Welcome to the crew Dan

Welcome aboard Dan,

Cal

Welcome aboard Dan.   Happy to see you here (even if no donuts).

Welcome Dan, glad to have you here, and I look forward to that woodworking school opening up, what an exciting journey!

Welcome to TPW Dan. Great to have you aboard. I enjoyed seeing the pics & reading about your shop in your profile. Best wishes on your woodworking school. I'm looking forward to hearing & seeing more about that as it unfolds. No doubt we all can pick up a nugget or two from that...

Since Indiana is closer than Colorado to Quebec, just send the donuts to me. I'll act as a forwarding agent to ensure they get to Stick.

Thanks for the welcome. As far as the bits or bytes, the donut holes here are called TimBits. LOL TSA ! don't they like Canadians ?

Great questions...only one way to know for sure Dan...can't guarantee the one piece status between Indiana and Colorado though:P
