Oh deff progress pics. I want to keep you all up to date and want them for myself hahaha

just for comparison, i got an email today from a place, J&G Sales, advertising surplus 1909 Argentine Mausers, 7.65x53, C&R eligible, for $429.95.  not the exact same thing, but similar in age and odd caliber.

have fun, be careful, take your time.  what you make today will last a long, long time.  do it right.

Well sh*t. I got the size wrong actually needed 2x8x36.... oh well ill just glue em up i only need to make one really. And i found i cant do a hidden bipod im going to have to put picatinny rail on the bottom to put it on. It's ok though I guess. And finally figured out how to incorperate an adjustable cheek wield. So I'm really happy about that. Cant wait to start working on it, fine tuning and get to the point i can purchase an exotic wood and make the finished product

Jay, fortunately we don't work that fast, ordering the item this morning.

So do we need just one 2x8x36 ? You have two weapons.

I have 2 john. I dont know if i need 2 really as i really only need to make one to see if i can do it but also it would be nice to have a back up if i mess up. It's not like I would actually be able to use a balsa wood stock lol

And i figured out how to make the adjustable wield work. Being a mechanic and fabricator all my life is really helping with this lol
