I never had a chance to hunt for antelope when I lived in northern Colorado, I only was able to deer hunt. Didn't even get one of them until after I moved to Florida, so I at least have one under my belt, but that was way back in 1990-91 season, I am hoping to finally get some gear again so I can try hunting again soon, but I have to sell a lot of items to do that LOL.

Oh good, well that's a plus anyway, as long as you don't get hackers messing things up.

I'll be a bit sparse this weekend gents. I am working on my California Professional Land Surveyors license application, a major feat in itself! The paperwork has to be in before Nov 1st, for me to sit for the test in April of 2017. I'll be hopping on here in between to take a break, and just say howdy, but nothing big!

Hung up the furniture maker's apron for a couple of days of finish carpentry.   My church is converting a room to be a chapel.  Two of us hung wainscoting and chair rail all around while we're waiting for the third guy on the crew to finish his part -- doors for a six-door cabinet that sits in an alcove behind.  Wasn't too bad except for a window, all the outlets and cold air returns, and left over carpet glue all over the floor.  None of the floors were level and none of the corners were square or plumb, but that was about as we expected.   Done except for the corner where the built-in cabinet sits and we'll cut and fit once they're installed.   All in all, about 75 lineal feet.

Got a reply on adhesive from Franklin Int'l and went with their suggestion.   Worked pretty well, but it can be sloppy.  Not much odor and dried fairly fast.

Sure brought life to the room.

 Well lets see, back to work on the 12th and spent 5 days in classes to re-qualify plant access training,confined space, fire watch, arc flash, radiation training. Along with that FBI & NRC & employment background checks since my last date of entry. Internal assessment (measures radiation presently in the body) and then issued a dosimetry badge which records a running total of radiation while on site, up to 900 millirem for the year. Fill this bottle to that line and don't flush.

 Received red badge and now I can enter the Beaver Valley Nuclear plant Unit 1 on the 19th & start 6-12days until complete. Job brief 4 hours long and can best be described as 1600 craftsman, 10,000 task, 24 days to complete. Backsides and elbows.

 Spent the next 2 days in containment prior to shutdown of the reactor for refueling. Review work that needs complete & new work that needs started. Humidity 70% temp 117*, this will drop after the pool is drained and the outside hatch is opened on the 24th. In these conditions dressed in radiation suits most of us can last about an hour before we over heat. Each day, 6 times we undress, hydrate & rest for 45 minutes & then go back in. Spent the rest of the week staging material and formulating plans of attack waiting for 00:01 Saturday.

  Shutdown started on time. I have to maintain an hourly log which is great because I don't remember what we did for the last 7 days but progress is being made. To date .01 millirem  of radiation.

  Today I have off, I'm headed to the couch, turn on a ball game and study the inside of my eyelids.

Sounds like "retirement" is going great so far Bob!  Glad you got a day off to perform internal eyelid inspections. Hope that worked out well. Get rested and drop in when you can.

Follow up on the church job.   We got the built-in cabinets installed in an alcove, got the doors on, transom done.  Not shown is the altar table and lectern we built and a kneeling bench I re-upholstered.    Carpet goes in Thursday.
