Not sure. I just copied the link and pasted it directly into the post. I di not use the "link" symbol in the post header

Lew,

Could you get 1000 WCFL on the east coast?

I don't remember that one, but I did listen to WLS from Chicago (at night) on a regular basis in the late 50's and early 60's.  When I used to run up I-95 from Norfolk/Virginia Beach, WBZ from Boston came in loud and clear every trip. Some of those old tube AM car radios had unbelievable reception. It was fun to see how well the "skip" was working when the sunspots were active. I got Huntsville Alabama  one night here in Pennsylvania.

I used to get the Wolfman Jack show from somewhere in Texas using an old 50' wire antenna strung from the house to a tree. ;)

That was back when AM was the king of the air waves. FM was for the old fogies back then. Now we're the old fogies. :o

I don't know what happened there but the video loaded when I went to edit in Arrgh below the address.

Not sure what happened there- looks like John fixed the video problem. I reposted your link- now there's 2. Anyway, our local PBS is running another pledge drive. Arlo Gutherie is doing a bunch of his work including the full length Alice's Restaurant.

Don't forget CKLW

I had completely forgotten about that one. Wasn't it near Detroit and very powerful?
