Well, almost anyhow. I shared a couple pics of the dormer work done earlier in the spring. The rest of the job fought me every step of the way. The floor was very uneven, ceiling texture would not stick uniformly, even the paint would not roll on the walls in a good fashion. But I stuck with it. Herewith, a couple before and after pics. My kitchen is now operational. 7 weeks. My wife and I did all of the work except for electrical routing/installation, flooring installation, and granite counter top installation. If you are an immigrant from the WOOD forum you know this kitchen project has had a few birthdays. Cabinet construction is cherry wood with birch pre-finished ply. 3/4" matl for the sides, top, and bottom. 1/2" matl for the backs. Finish schedule is one coat BLO, one coat garnet shellac 1-1/2 lb cut, and three coats Sherwin-Williams Sher-wood Kem Aqua clear finish medium rubbed. Full extension soft close drawer slides. I've posted here saying that wasps had invaded my birdhouses and killed small birds. I also said that I had sprayed the inside with dry teflon, thinking the wasp nest would not stick. Today I removed one of my bird houses and found two nests, one made by a bird and one made by the wasps that chased the bird away. This time I installed some very thin Teflon sheeting to the upper parts of the house. I also had to restore much of the declarations, the sun had eaten them again. I have several more to go.

So i have 2 old rifles....1914 KAR 98 MAUSER 8mm all matching 98% barrel and bluing. 1924 MLE-M-16 BERTHEIRE CARBINE 8mm i want to preserve the stocks which are serialized as well and design and build a thumb hole stock out of a nice deep like almost mahagony collered burrel wood. Interal fold down bi pod scope attachment point so i can still use iron sites and not have to drill and tap my reciver and possibly an adjustable cheek weild. Any thoughts?
