I am asking about having an urn made for my son, Nicholas, an young combat infantry vet. He served with honor and distinction with the 1/32IN, 3rd BCT, 10thMD in Afstan. He fought the good fight but finally lost his battle to PTS and deep depression. My son died by suicide on the afternoon of June 11, 2021. He was the father of two young sons. We'll be bringing Nick to Arlington when they can schedule his burial, most likely 2-4 months from now. One of my friends at lumberjocks suggested I contact this group to ask about an urn for Nick.

Our very generous sponsor Easy Wood Tools ( @Jim from Easy Wood Tools ) as well as other woodworking suppliers have teamed up with ToolMetrix to help our veterans to overcome the affects of PTSD. A great article from Woodworker's Journal letting us know what's taking place. here's a link to the entire article and words from some of the vets who have benefited- https://www.woodworkersjournal.com/vetsturn-helping-heal-ptsd-through-turning/

So for practice in woodworking i was thinking due to lack of materials using scap to design build functioning ancient weaponry. Such as a trebuche mult arrow launcher guitine ets. Great way to annoy coworkers hahaha and suggestions or input? Will make vid but will take time due to not knowing how to make them or vid yet. What should i attempt first? Also after this weekends retreat i saw this come across my fb feed. This is SO true. Like a duck under water and upstairs is 58809 it r32 24th 557889 miles per second. Im a 4 time surivor. We have to much pride and to much drink water and drive on habit we dont do anything untill its to late....Reach out to anyone. One may be a vet and even if not its still helping someone who has invisible wounds.....

Green Beret speaking about vets dealing with suicide at Trump Vets Event
Allen Worsham posted a topic in The Veterans Corner and Causes Forum
This is "NOT" posted as a political advertisement or endorsement Donald Trump. This is posted because of the speech done by a Green Beret John Wayne Walding talking about the issues facing Vets as they come home and dealing with the struggles of war as well as dealing with the great number of Vet suicides. The statistics show that on average there are 22 Vets committing suicide on a "DAILY BASIS"! This guy did a great job sharing about his struggles as well as encouraging others to carry on. The link below carries the video of the The Green Beret John Wayne Walding speaking. At the end of the Green Beret's speech there are a couple of his friends who are with a group from https://www.22kill.com/ that was established to educate people about the 22 Veterans per day suicides who talk about their group.- 3 replies

PTSD takes the life of Marine Cpl Casey Owens. This is reality, 5000 veterans a year take their own lives to escape the suffering caused by Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. To see the face of one of our own who served, and most recently has passed hits home. You would never know the torture that was going on inside Mr. Owens by the image below. Please click on the image to be taken to Impact A Hero Facebook Page and leave your prayers for Casey and his family.
