All pieces have been sawed out except the dragon or what ever he is called. So now I am trying to figure out how to go about carving the small pieces I turned this hunk of maple in to. The object is to cut the pieces apart where by design the saw cracks will disappear. And you might know it I did flub up a few times and it is hard to adapt those places in to something presentable. I never attempted a dragon before so I don't even know what color those things should be? I'm showing where I'm at right now and there will be lots of shaping and grinding for a few more days. I'm running out of time on the temporary glue for it don't take long for it will come un glued so to speak. The better brands will give a slow poke more time to do the sawing. It will be more shop time when its over 100 so this might go faster than I had originally planned.. And for those who have never tried to scroll saw a piece of paper that is not sticking down is almost impossible to cut accurately.

Found this at harbor freight for 5.00( I'm almost embarrassed to say that). Veritas wanted 129.00 for their scribe. Sometimes it's the little things that make you happy.

Hey, here's hoping someone can help me out. I've been doing a lot of woodburning and artwork this past month and most of what i'm doing is repeatable patterns. My fingers have taken a beating transferring the patterns onto wood with carbon paper and a pen. I came across the idea that if I had a stencil I could not only speed up the time it takes but maybe I could save my poor fingers from cramping so much. I'd be willing to pay for the stencils made from my jpeg's so if anyone has a way to make them let me know. THANKS in advance...

A few years ago Karen made a fairy garden in our back yard. I made her some wooden things like mushrooms, frogs and a dragon. She has been unable to do it this year due to knee surgery. We discovered that the idiot that made Puff the magic dragon didn't use waterproof glue. So today I fixed him and gave him a paint job.
