Thanks Lew, I left it a bit bumpy, so as to not make it look too glassy :)

 

Also on the first image at the right end where htat big brown spot is, that is actually a repair area. THe knot popped into pieces, so I filled it with sawdust. That worked as far as color here. I used a bit of the buckeye dust and a bit of maple dust. :)
