The dyes really make the grain pop!

Transtint, Colonial Dye, great stuff and easy to work with. While applying it via spray, you have to know when to back off and just let it all soak in, one can try to even it out too much and then we have problems, I have learned to let it be and it all dries uniform anyway despite color variations as its applied.

Great looking piece. Love the curl in that. Now where is the pie? Or is someone else making them?

Gerald, this was a really fun project. Thanks for the compliments! I don't think the pies ever made it to the shelves on this one, knowing the new owner of this piece, I doubt a pie ever made it out of the kitchen. Thanks again Gerald.
