Beautiful grain patterns. I don't think I've heard of Red Bud.

Wow, who would guessed Red Bud trees could yield something like that? Well I guess you did Gerald.

What finish did you apply? It really enhanced the grain. Very nice!

They are beautiful trees in the spring...there are a couple of communities not too far from us that hold Red Bud festivals each year when the trees are in bloom.

i love your work, Gerald. Your designs a re great, you are really getting the hang of this turning thing. Keep it up ,your pictures are very good too. You get a 10 in my book.

@Grandpadave52 the finish is Watco, My preferred although I do use lacquer when using dye. Thanks for the comments folks

OK, now I know what they are, Thanks! Around here folks call them Judas Trees. We see a lot of them planted with Dogwood Trees. Beautiful when they blossom at the same time.

You just continue to outdo yourself.  This reminds me of Noah's ark with the top and floors removed.
