Not all went perfect during the production. Rusty explains-

@Rusty S found another piece of that honey locust burl. This one isn't quite as gnarly as the previous one but just as beautiful.

@calabrese55 recently moved from a large shop area into a much smaller place. Although there have been some little hiccups, the quality of his work has not suffered. Please hop over to his post and checkout his new digs.

@Gordon finished up a lovely bowl. Beautiful contrasts between the sap wood and heart wood!

Everything Else-

Been working away at the gifted logs, turning them into roughed out bowl blanks. The locust looks like Honey Locust. Still have 2 pieces of those to process. The Crabapple looses the brilliant pink soon after the air hits the wet wood. The Flame Box Elder log that has been setting on the carport for a couple of years is really dry and a lot of the flame red has faded. Turned the blanks to finished thickness but they still need the bottom mortices turned away and sanding/apply finish.

Well what remains sure is amazing. With the color variations those are going to be amazing with finish applied.
