Friday again folks.

Here "Two Weeks From Anywhere" it will be a weekend to hibernate with daytime high temperatures forecast to be 6 on Saturday, 8 on Sunday.

So as I hibernate for the weekend,

Busy week by my standards but no significant accomplishments. Youngest grandson's 6th grade A/B basketball team both remain undefeated and added the county championship to their accomplishments this week.

Weekend looks like snow rearranging will be on tap after ~3" of the white powder landed last night with another, now 2"-5" predicted through tomorrow night. We did manage to see most of the grass for a couple days this month. Mrs. Grandpa Dave took today off so donut know what she has planned for me yet.

Shop is closed until Spring 2026 especially with sub-zero actual temperatures and windchills of -15° to -25° forecast for the weekend. Donut forget, "a donut a day keeps weight watchers away." :Eat: I'll let myself out.:GoodNight:

Edit add PSAin breaking news, Krispy-Kreme is offering $1US/dozen donuts today. If you have a KK locally (sadly we donut any more), check it out. I have no affiliation with Krispy-Kreme nor do I receive any compensation for this important announcement.

Made progress on the wood rack. OSB not attached but feel there is too much give in that front as the span is too long for the 2x4 (only supported at top and bottom currently).

Thinking I'll add another shelf with supports to the front 2x4. Temp placement (arrow) seems to give pretty good support.

@Grandpadave52 I donut know what you are going to do. Are you getting close to cabin fever yet?🤠

Finished the show season tonight. Not  a powerful event but did a bit better than last year. This morning was all electrical for the DC Closet. Finally got that part done and it is time to put the ply on the walls so I can see if I need to add insulation to dampen sound.

I passed close two months ago. I'm mired down in the middle of the winter jungle and failed to leave donut sprinkles or crumbs to find the path out.:KooKoo_Clock:

If one is keeping track, it's approximately 97d, 10h, 30m, 14s, no 13s, no 11s...well anyway Spring is a long way off.:Punched:...that is if anyone is counting down.

I didn't want to hear that, it's 6 feels like -6 and if we're lucky it might warm up to 9 before going to below 0 overnight.

Good eye, that is a Hock iron. I have the original Stanley iron, just haven’t dressed it up.

Nope.  Drilled the holes with a 35 mm Fortsner bit and take the slots out on a table saw.
