Our Patriot Turners-

Been quiet on our forum this week so I thought I'd bring back some pieces from out of the past. Pulled these from the Gallery.

Turning Time With Easy Wood Tools-

Easy Wood Tools recently acquired the Yorkshire Grit, LLC. They have both the original and the microfine pastes available.

Carl Jacobson demonstrates using the Original grit in this video-

Some turners apply a lacquer sanding sealer prior to using the paste as explained in this video.

I have used the paste with and without the sanding sealer. It produces and amazing surface!

If you are in the Sacramento, CA area, the owners of Easy Wood Tools will be there demonstrating their products at the Woodcraft store March 29, 2025. Stop in and see Christi and Chris use the tools they make!

Not sure if there is anyone from across the pond who reads this, but Mike Waldt recently reviewed a new drive system in this video.

This link, from the video, is where North American customers can purchase the system-  https://blackforestwood.com/

Everything Else-

Safe turning

Thanks for the nod Lew, that WAS a long time ago. I think maybe it's the first I tried pyrography and I'm sure it's the first zentangle I used.
