March 11, 20251 yr Popular Post You can if you have very high pressure, but tone it down to 50 PSI or less and you will be fine. I've blown several makes (including the Wynn I have now) of filters at that pressure with no problem. If that still makes you nervous, some guys take them outside and use their leaf blower on them, I've not done that but other sya it's a good way to blow them out.

My Neurologist didn't seem to think it would be of much value. The Vascular surgeon required it as a follow-up to the stroke even though he had ruled out surgery as too risky when I was discharged from the hospital. Two different medical groups; IDK, guess we'll see.
March 12, 20251 yr Popular Post Well, it's Wednesday, but nothing to do with turning. I got the nightstand/end table/TV stand/whatever glued up today. I used what I learned in the glue seminar and yes, I have enough clamps. I used some nice hickory that I had sitting around for years. That stuff is heavy! It will get a couple of trim strips below the top and around the bottom shelf, then final sanding and on to the finishing. It's about 24" high, 24" long, and 16" wide.
March 13, 20251 yr Nice, I love hickory as a wood but can't say i enjoy working with all that much. Besides the weight, I found that when milling it it splinters frequently and is just generally not that much fun to work. That said, I love the appearance and Marie had this kitchen and one we did 20 years ago (different huse) done with hickory cabinets.
