Started this project as a way to use small pieces of wood and add to product line. Got started with Spalted wood and it seems I have a lot in the shop. So I turned some plain buttons for the JaHo also. Started trying to use JaHo today and after starting found that the chuck holding par was too big to go all the way around so more tomorrow when I get couple screws. Oh also experimented with gilding wax and liming Report

April 6, 20242 yr Author Popular Post comment_333294 And it continues. Today got the JaHo ornamental jig going. Have to do a slow feed with this jig. Shape of the disc also makes a difference. I dyed these first so that the cuts will shine. Also it is time consuming changing the round table each cut . Care must be exercised to get matching cuts , it is easy to go too deep. Aldo did some tye dying on some plain blanks. More later. Report
