Finally get a Saturday of peace and quiet.  Even turned phone off to keep it that way.  Intend to get out in my shop this afternoon, give myself a tour.  Been awhile.

just needs a coat of RED paint next week, letting the glue in the stands dry.  the plywood is screwed and glued to the 2x4 material.

It's Saturday and, it's a toy painting day. Time to try out the new air brush. Probably should don painting coveralls and nitrile gloves. Ah, what the heck. It's water-based paint.  

Was apparently working way too hard for a Saturday in the shop?

Clarification: the plywood on the stands is glued to the 2x4 stock. The barricade can be removed for storage and transport.

Last years decoration.

 

Been busy in shop working on a few ornaments for a show in two weeks and the Christmas list of 17 boxes. Had a woodturners meeting this morning. Next week is time to put up the Christmas decoration and since raining Monday and Tuesday looks like the next 4 days of the week for that. I try to spend no more that 3 hours a day doing this.

  Okay I am lazy.  Found this 23 inch tree on Amazon.  Decorated and with lights, all in one.

Dan, we did see Esther and was blown away.  We saw a total of 4 shows:  Clay Cooper(so-so), #1 Hits of the 50’s,60’s and70’s(Excellent, Branson Murder Mystery (waste of time and $) and Esther.  We did not go to Grizzly because of an issue with them a few years ago.
