July 31, 20232 yr Author Popular Post Monday in the shop and nothing went wrong? So...PIP time...still have a bit of Final Sanding to do...but.. Lid sit flat Both drawers are done...felt to be installed, after the Witch's Brew goes on... Need to file/sand around the latch...Square is for scale.. Hinges? With all the screws "Clocked" Case needs a set of feet, to elevate it? So...Mitre Box & Saw...the Cordless No. 72c Millers Falls model Had to keep changing it from 45 degrees, to 90 degrees and back... Bandsaw to cut a fancy end.. Then sand all these "rough cuts"...add a dab of glue...and moosh them around a bit, until they stick in place... Waiting on the glue to cure.. Then sand these level. Clean up the blobs of glue...with a sharp chisel. Almost done...on the last day of July! Stay tuned

July 31, 20232 yr Author Popular Post PIP #2? Front view...with a coat of Witch's Brew.. Debate is whether Amber Shellac, or Clear Gloss Poly for the top coat... Raise the lid ( still hunting a small chain) Top has been "Greened" Top drawer, too Added a divider to the bottom drawer....was down to bits & pieces of green.. Feet details? Feet have been planed until the case sits level, without rocking.... Waiting on the Witch's Brew to finish drying...has been wiped down as I went... Otherwise...I think this is done? At least I am down to the "Punch List"... Next? Will try to load this thing up...as soon as I can round up all the lay out tools that will fit in here... Stay tuned
