It was either @FlGatorwood or @Gunny who added a timer to their charging station to help with the possibility of overheating. 
 

I have been looking for a manual timer/switch for mine. Right now the timer I have repeats every 24 hours. Want one that shuts off after a predetermined time and must be manually restarted

I believe this is the first project Rusty has shown us that didn't involve a lathe :D

Not to throw screws in your plans but I have always wondered if the batteries would lose their charge back bleeding into the chargers if they are left plugged in without power going to them.  Tool companies need to come up with a battery tender like they have for vehicle batteries.
