Sat thru his seminars a couple different times a few years back at the Woodworking Shows when they came to Indy. He's an excellent presenter and teacher plus just a great down to earth guy.

October 24, 20223 yr Popular Post nice one, i have made some stands for using lathe and a pc of cardboard ,i'll find a pic and post also made all our steel target stands, took a few tries to get them where i wanted, but we generally set up quite a few pcs of steel for rifles and pistols out to hundy yards. i'll assemble stands and show them kinda proud of me making them foldable for xport . nice look 1xs, our shooting range goes thru them like no tomorrow, folks seem to think the wood leg is the target.
October 24, 20223 yr I bought 2x8x8s, cut to 4’, then rip to 11/16” x 1-1/2. Get 18 per board. get 10’ lumber if we need 5’ sticks.
October 24, 20223 yr Make mine of 2x4 which slips into a box to hold it upright. Also did 1x1 to fold, but it was a hassle to set up and a good wind would blow it over. Like to shoot steel mostly. I have one setup with four 3 inch discs which goes between larger plates from 4 to 10 inch. Now steel is the fun target only need center mass, one hole inside another is overkill.
