October 10, 20223 yr comment_300084 Shellac is a universal sealer. Can go on oil base and then apply acrylic or the reverse. I would not suggest anything over wax as Lew said it will not stay. You can remove wax with alcohol. Just remember no wax till finish is cured and you are done. Report
