Managed to get 95% of yard mowed, some of roadsides. Still need to finish fence rows and part of roadside ditches. Gotta cool some. Mrs. is home today thus today's plans TBD. Online auction PU tomorrow; only about 5 miles away...no tools in this one. Church business meetings Tuesday & Wednesday evenings.

Rear shocks to replace on oldest granddaughters car, various other projects to choose from. Still working on revamping all the to-do lists. So far, I've created several new lists establishing the sequence and priority to attack the current lists. Very exhausting process.

Busy as usual.  Fixing roof on this extra storage building.  Tree dropped a branch through it. It landed in such a way you could not see it from ground. Found floor wet yesterday morning.  Yeah fun stuff.

Helped a friend put together a base for a "wishing well" for his front yard.  Basically, two "donuts" of PT 3/4" plywood and 12 PT 1x2 slats going between them.  Would have been a lot easier if the plywood was a little drier and not like a Pringle after we got it cut.  But we got it wrestled into position.  He'd changed the outside diameter on me and another 1/16" of an inch and it would not have fit out the door.  Just got it loaded and it started pouring rain.

Now you know that Dave would share his fifth if that was all he had.

Bought a brace for the knee and that was an improvement on how it feels at least.

Have you ever tried THIS Gerald? My wife has tried many things but says this really helps her. She had both knees scoped many years ago and both were basically bone to bone then. There likely will be a time when replacement(s) is the final solution but she says she's holding out until there's no other alternative.

I was called for (grand) jury duty yesterday and today.

Did get some yard mowed yesterday and should finish it up this evening unless we run late.  Small town, small county - we ought to finish up early :)

This is the first time I have served on any type of jury.  Have been called once for regular jury duty but the case was settled while we were sitting in the courtroom waiting to see who was actually selected, actually even before that - we hadn't even been questioned yet.

A young girl (mid 20's) sitting next to me yesterday, this was her third time being called up!

For those who might remember some of my earlier posts and know of my enjoyment and interests in old courthouses... our courthouse is "not much".  Peach County was the last county formed in Georgia, in 1924, #159.  The exterior is not much, the interior even less so.  An addition was added a few years back and it is even more plain.

For woodworking, I do have a small (and I mean small) project that I will share when completed.  A limited number of you may benefit from it...

Watching a rerun of Matlock right now. IIRC, he was from Atlanta. He never lost a case. Good luck.:P

this week I'm prepping for next weekend's show. and by prepping, I mean sanding until my arms fall off. This year has been a challenge for us as our sales have been great, but shop time limited with my wife going through chemo for breast cancer. Normally she does the majority of the sanding allowing me to build. what's keeping us going is the cancer is responding well to the treatment and shrinking. this is setting up nicely for surgery in November. just in time to be done as show season ends :D.

Prayers for you both John as well as the medical team providing her treatment and on-going care. Thankful to hear your sales are very good but mostly her treatments are responding well. We're here for you my friend!

Ditto what Dave said, hoping for the best for your wife!

working on a design for a "gun dump box", to be used in 2 and 3 gun matches.  place to either stage a gun, or discard a gun and switch to another gun.  should accommodate pistols, carbines, and shotguns.

stay tuned in the coming weeks.
