Those are absolutely cool Woodman, I love your repurposed work, very nice indeed, and crafty, and down to earth, you should pick up Green Woodworking, you'd fit right in with the philosophy and lifestyle. July 23, 20224 yr Popular Post comment_295108 I blinked and it is Saturday!!!! New job is just that busy. Took a pain pill last night for my wrist and arm and crashed till 1100 this morning. Gotta gather myself together with some coffee. Turned AC on in shop, no sense in being uncomfortable. Have a drawer project to work on as well as insert organizer for coworker's toolbox drawer. July 23, 20224 yr Popular Post comment_295123 Free wood pickup tomorrow. I'll make a dedicated stand for the seventy-two-pound c.1989 Delta Motorized Miter Saw. With all that wood, I can make a bench which would support a truck engine! With shelves beneath. Report

July 23, 20224 yr Popular Post comment_295137 Came in from offshore on Thursday to find myself the recipient of some unexpected live oak. So today has been a process of getting it down safely and getting it processed! Fortunately, there was no damage to the garage or the fence, just a few unexpected oak logs to play with! Report

There's this fella Robert in Phoenix who takes found wood to carved items to a true art. Bought a nice spurtle of shoestring arcadia from him at the Uptown Farmers Market last year. Who else could craft a kitchen tool from a 700 year old pattern! Fallen Wood Turnings -> Creating wood art from the fallen wood of the urban forest and repurposing found or donated wood.
