second coat of red on the next pair of doors.  likely swap them out tuesday next week.

a little stucco patching later when the area is in the shade.

stucco patching done, 4 areas today, more another day.

that's just like work, but it pays less....

Well step 1 of my day started with the acquisition of 200 BF of Beech which should be enough for a decent bench.
On a related note, 200 BF of Beech will kind of fit in a Toyota FJC.

Part way through the day and the patio chair is ready for glue and dowels…  What no dowels?

Well then…  A short time later a holder has been made for the dowel plate.
Roughly hewn from a 3x4” ash glueup with a drill press, a bench chisel and a non-trivial amount of profanity it is complete!! (or at least functional)

All shop scraps bow in fear of my new ability to put a square peg in a round hole!!!

"a non-trivial amount of profanity"

Enough to get the job done but not quite enough to peel the paint from the walls :)

The weekend just came to a screeching halt. The guy I used to work for just sent out a call for help. He needs to finish up 43 tables that are going to be picked up on Tuesday and big surprise, they are not done.

A Disston D-8, still with the teeth Disston made...owner NEVER had it sharpened, ever...just bought a new saw, when this one was dull.

Bits are both #7 size...just different makers..

Boss loves the "new" rocker...is now on the lookout for the "proper" seat cushion...

Did 5 hours of Bouncin, Bouncin, Bouncin, Mowin about 4 acres yesterday, moving mighty slow today.

Did mine Friday night.  It does hurt more than it used to.  About 4 acres for me as well.
