June 3, 20223 yr Popular Post Friday Just another day if you ask me. Here "Two Weeks From Anywhere" my weekend agenda depends upon the weather, gas prices, and how fast the clock decides to spin. Have plenty to try to get done, like replacing the leaky steering box on the Dodge truck, firewood to cut up, and of course Mowin, Mowin, Mowin. But of course... The "Weather Forecasters" are calling for Saturday and Sunday, the gas cans empty, ( Matches my wallet. ) and the clock's broke. So, Whats On Your Weekend Agenda?

June 3, 20223 yr Popular Post Putting things back together. Added a cutout switch to the lathe so I don't have to unplug when not in use. Replaced the security light in the back yard- needs programmed. Babysit a friends pup while the ladies get together. Maybe get to those platters.

Church Sunday, then lunch followed with a peach mango sherbet cone. Whatever all, y'all are doing, be safe...and oh...HAPPY National Donut Day!

June 3, 20223 yr Popular Post Dump Run! End-O-Spring clean out. Lots of old construction materials, metal and cardboard. I'm hooking up the trailer and hauling it all out of here. The it's on to my CSA Beer pickup. Great local Beer brewed in town and made from 100% New England ingredients. Sunday I'm going to finish the netting on the blueberries, I got the screen door in the hoop house for the Haskap Berries today. I made a new friend today. I've been tossing peanuts to a chipmunk, well today he's now eating out of my hand. I think that old man stuff
June 4, 20223 yr Popular Post Gave a class to a shop teacher today on lathe. His school has bought a lathe and plans to start classes. Tonight out to Logan's Roadhouse for son's birthday. Tomorrow back to projects in shop.
June 4, 20223 yr Just getting over a week of COVID and wife is a few days behind me. Not sure where I got it -- two recitals, two graduation ceremonies, an anniversary dinner out, meeting and project prototype at the furniture bank, trip to Dr. office, dishwasher purchased and installed, theater set build, 800 mile trip with motel stop, pit stops, meal stops, and gas stops, and funeral and lunch for a friend. Could have been any one of them. Thankfully I had vaxed, follow up and two rounds of booster shots.

June 4, 20223 yr Popular Post I was able to get the tiller out yesterday and till the weeds out of the garden along with getting in the last rows of sweet corn for this year. This nice weather is here for the weekend so I may get out in the yard today and do some tree trimming. I think one of the boys and his kids may be coming to visit tomorrow, so anything I was planning for Sunday will be on hold.

June 4, 20223 yr Popular Post Been doing a lot of visiting with wife's relatives. Today, we visit my only relative living close by. My sister is just 15 miles from where we are staying with Phyl's bro. The other sister is in Chi town. She was exposed to Covid last week and is self quarantined for 10 days. BIL is rapidly improving his turning skills. He's done a few Pistachio burls with colored resin that are just stunning. Here's one. Unfortunately. my photography skills are lacking.
