Thought I would try something a little different this  year. Put a natural edge top on a bird house ornament. No finish on this yet. Not sure what I think at this point.

 

 

 

 

 

Love it and the idea that the roof overhangs the walls.  Ladies should go crazy over that one.

I am not much on birdhouses but that roof is intriguing.

The roof and the body look great but to me the finial on the bottom looks too big.  I would thin it down.  I love the idea!

The roof reminds me of the ornament that @HandyDan showed us a couple of weeks ago. I like it. Maybe the roof could be a little thinner at the rim.

Told my wife exactly the same thing Dan, about the bottom. It clunks it up pretty good.

It's definitely a YEA right now.  May be YEA-ER with a fit more taken off as noted.

I like the design Steve. I agree with Dan and your view the bottom finial could be pared down as it overpowers the birdhouse proportionally.

Can't wait to see with a finish especially with the spalting. Thanks for sharing and asking for input.
