October 24, 20214 yr Popular Post Our son and DIL had a 50s vintage solid pine 50"X25" base cabinet, without a top, in storage and, were happy to get rid of it. So, it's in my shop. It has four drawers on the left and two more above two doors, on the right. The drawers and doors were lacking pulls. Luckily, the drawer faces and doors have a 1 /4" hole where a knob must've been. In my stash, I found a large bag of 1 1/2" wooden toy wheels with 1/4" axle holes. Stacking two per drawer on machine screws made great replacements. The top will be Melamine, like the SCMS bench. The laser will live there. That job and, more organizing took up Saturday. We're taking today off. Meeting the family for a picnic brunch in the desert at 09:00. Then, at 14:00, our dog has a vet appt. Yep, she has Sunday hours. Then, it'll be time to watch our Cardinals get their 7th win!

October 24, 20214 yr Popular Post tried to fix a chair this afternoon. old chair, cracked joint on back, where the arm and back leg extension and back all come together in one place. had tried gluing it before, didn't hold. so 2 part epoxy today, as that will fill in any voids. only has to last about 2 months or less, until we get new chairs.

October 27, 20214 yr Popular Post Gene, I think if you look closely on that hillside, you can see Clint Eastwood coming toward you. Forty, that awesome bowl looks great. While I see some tear out in end grain sections, that I think will smooth out in sanding. Looking forward to final product. Edited October 27, 20214 yr by FlGatorwood
