Doing a show Saturday.  I’ve knocked my show schedule down to two.  This one is juried with 70 vendors.  Always a fun show.

We are working on getting her out of there and back in her own home, the logistics of that is overwhelming, but do-able.

Being at home is a healthier living environment for a faster recovery.

Tile guy has used his excuse book twice in the last ten days. I was looking to save some time but now I'll be saving money. Moving forward.

We decided on a single basket weave pattern due to the length of the sink wall. We got our feet wet on the 3' counter. Adhesive was still wet when I took the picture and I was able to correct the out of place tile. She wants a small grout line, 1/16" white unsanded. Not looking forward to that part but she keeps saying "we got this". Getting closer to that steak dinner.

Roughed out a couple of spalted oak bowls this afternoon.  Got 'em soaking in soapy water.  Not sure of the term, but the football shaped one is bark side up.  I'm not sure that I like the shape.

Turned the inside of the cocobolo lidded bowl.  Took a while to get this done.  Very hard and dry.  Sealed with boiled linseed oil.

Started on the lid.  That's all I'm saying, it's a surprise.

Like the way you put the little taper on the rim to seat the lid. I use that concept on the salt cellars and sugar bowls I make. Keeps the lids centered and seated.

The taper on the lid matches the taper on the inside of the containers

I did as little as I could get away with this weekend.....and the knee still hurts.  :BangingHead: Not sure which is worse, walking with the cane, or without it....them first 3-4 steps are..."fun", until I'm able to sit the heel all the way down.  :OldManSmiley:

may post a blurb about that resaw I started...haven't decided what to make out of the boards, yet....have two 3/8" x 5" x 24" slabs of Ash to plane flat and smooth....may have a few more pieces, sitting around....we'll see...:WonderScratch:

Sending prayers and strength to you and Mrs Morris on that daunting task. I know the emotional toll it can take.

Thank you Lew.
