August 26, 20214 yr Popular Post Got the lacquer on these handles last night and put them together today. Still messed up the insert on one and cracked the handle. Pizza / is server is new for me This ice cream scoop is the hardest kit of them all but the wife likes it best. This is the large pizza cutter. The small ones just not selling but sold the only large I had. Another new item . These seam rippers are just glued into the handle. These are my Fire Stix and one of my most consistent sellers , outside of snap tops. Now ready for the season mostly.
August 26, 20214 yr Popular Post Really like those heavy duty pizza cutters. We have one and really does the job! Was the insert a thread in type?
August 26, 20214 yr Popular Post The stock is building and looking very nice. Good luck at the sales.
August 26, 20214 yr Popular Post Nice work. I really like the consistency of the items. Making one of something is one thing, making a production run is another. This showcases professional level skills. .40

August 26, 20214 yr Popular Post The good thing having lots of color on those things, they are easy to spot if hiding somewhere. I like em!

August 27, 20214 yr Popular Post Great work, Gerald. I have done both ice cream scoops and pizza cutters. Rockler sells a very expensive and durable pizza cutter for $20 each and if memory serves correctly, the ice cream scoops are about $15. Both use the threaded screw. I like it because you can remove the handle to toss the business end into the sink. Good luck on getting them to market and getting them sold. They will sell. The rolling pins I made for a local school sold for $20 each and walked away in less than a month.
August 27, 20214 yr Popular Post That stuff is really cool. My only foray into handles was with some screwdriver shanks. No matter how hard I tried (probably 7-8 attempts) I couldn't get the hole parallel with the handle...you got it nailed. Besides that, the handles are just plain nice looking.
August 27, 20214 yr @Gerald when I install those screw-in inserts into handles, I put a worm gear hose clamp- with padding- around the end of the handle.
