Supposed to be raining for the next 2-3 days so I won't be venturing too far this week.  For the week ahead, working on a new desk top for daughters stand up desk.  Need to prep a couple cleats for the underside, bore holes for cord grommets and get some finish applied.

Not sure on rain @Cal lately they have been wrong almost at 90% mark.😁

Started on replacing drain pipe for gutters on house and shop that goes to street.  Had issue with clogs the last 6 feet before it hit the street.

Found this at 4 ft from street.

Been there 30+ years at least. I didn't install.

So dug out 40 ft till it just goes under driveway.  I plan to replace with 4 inch schedule 40 PVC and add a clean out.

Yet another busy week at the J.O.B.  Still working on some very stressful datacenter hardware and software upgrades.  WAITING ON DELL to get their act together.

Spent 4 hours this morning putting out a yard of topsoil where hedges were removed. Until I saw what Gunny was up to I was pooped and now I am really tired. Oh well Grass comes next.

Todays Progress:

1st cats inspected last nights work.

Pipe installed and sealed up, then tested:

This concrete I laid last night. It is foundation for bricks I will be using to come up and over the pipe. Above that will be a concrete plate 15 inches square with a inset 8 inch sewer line cover. WHY? This is where clean out is, and I want to not worry about running it over with my truck when I have to move vehicles around occasionally and park on that side section.  Method to the madness.. ;)

I'd say you got it done just in time Gunny.  Today's forecast for up your way is in the neighborhood of 6" of rain :JawDrop:

I've not checked my gauge yet this morning, but our rains came overnight.  Woke me up a couple times...

Since our plans, at least mine, never work out, why bother? The only thing plans are good for is they might help you decide when you're done. But, even then, there's always room for just one more nail.;)

Heavy rain since very early this morning. Might make that 6 inches.

Just checked. Yup 6 inches.

With rain outside I came under carport and made form for concrete top.  Centered cast iron ring in middle upsidedown.  Tomorrow can remove from form and let cure few days.

Progress, albeit slow.
