Didn't get enough grass to do all I had ready but that 70 was enough for today. Got it in place and watered the largest area by the drive . Got to water the partial strip by the shop this afternoon.

Got the axe out and wacked the root system on the palm down so I can cover with 4 inches soil. Later not today.

What a test of a new drain. Any overflow?

The drains in the carport, all good.  Gutters, all checked out good.  Excellent test as you mentioned.  Very satisfied with results.  Problem fixed, all that is left is some cosmetic work on the clean out.  Be a few days.  Looks like weather has cleared and dried up the streets.  Back to work for me.

Todays Progress:

1st cats inspected last nights work.

Pipe installed and sealed up, then tested:

This concrete I laid last night. It is foundation for bricks I will be using to come up and over the pipe. Above that will be a concrete plate 15 inches square with a inset 8 inch sewer line cover. WHY? This is where clean out is, and I want to not worry about running it over with my truck when I have to move vehicles around occasionally and park on that side section.  Method to the madness.. ;)

Used 5 gallon buckets, filled 4 full of rocks that were around old pipe.  Took them to my rock quarry pile for possible fill later.:)

Thankfully I did not encounter those.  The neighbor however, yeah he has been busy on his main line install for a month.  So far he has a 40 foot trench that comes to a walkway.  The tunneling under that walkway he is just avoiding the hard work.  Might explain why I am about done in 2 days and he is still thinking about it.

So your drain line is cat approved?  Meow.

Well you could dump the rocks in the neighbors trench;)

County just burned him for working on main water line without a permit.  He tried to throw me under the bus about my drain line.  County guy came over, looked at it asked me where it started.  Showed him, he even checked out the clean out.  Then told me nice work, no permit needed when it is rain water mediation.  Even gave me a certificate of inspection.  Might be good when I sell the house, all legal and such.

Neighbor decided it is too hot, gave up and went inside to goof off.

Meanwhile I am tunneling under the walkway in backyard so I can run the air line from compressor to Finishing room.

Two tee shirts soaked so far.

Someone made this laser engraving for me recently.  Made a frame for it and put it up.
